Start with the right financial year
Reports are always for the financial year shown in the title bar. Set the FY you're filing (FY dropdown, top-right), then go to Reports. Every export uses that year.
The reports
FAR & Depreciation Schedule
The classic schedule: one row per asset with code, name, class, location, invoice & put-to-use dates, method, life, rate, then the opening gross, additions, deductions, closing gross, opening WDV, depreciation, depreciation on deductions, closing WDV, accumulated depreciation, and profit/loss on sale. Tangible (depreciated) and intangible (amortised) assets are split into separate sections with a grand total across both.
Schedule III PPE
Generate the Companies Act Schedule III presentation of Property, Plant & Equipment, three ways:
- Horizontal — the metrics run across the columns, classes down the rows.
- Vertical — the same class-wise reconciliation transposed: classes across the columns, metrics down the rows.
- Asset-wise — one row per tangible asset with the same columns.
Each shows gross carrying amount (opening/additions/disposals/closing), accumulated depreciation (opening/for the year/on disposals/closing), and net carrying amount (opening/closing).
Asset Register (master)
The full master list: code, name, class, type, sub-class, location, custodian, vendor, vendor GSTIN/state, invoice no & date, put-to-use date, quantity, method, life, rate, gross cost, residual, status.
Additions Register
Everything added in the year — new assets and capital additions — sorted by date, with vendor, GSTIN, invoice and amount. Ends with a total.
Disposals / Sales Register
Assets sold or scrapped in the year, with disposal date, buyer name & GSTIN/PAN, WDV at sale, sale value and profit/(loss).
Journal Entries (ERP)
Vouchers to post to your accounting system: month-end depreciation for each month, year-end entries, disposals, and additions. Set the ledger names under Setup ▸ ERP Ledgers and export the journal to Excel.
How exports are formatted
- Money uses the Indian lakh-grouping format (
#,##,##0.00). - Dates are formatted day-month-year (e.g.
12-Apr-2025). - Header rows are styled, the title bar repeats the client name and FY, and the schedule always foots: closing gross − accumulated dep = closing WDV.
- Each export auto-fits columns and freezes the header rows.
